Description

As the Vice President of Sales in DACH, you will lead our regional Sales organization into the next phase of growth. Reporting directly to our SVP Sales (based in London), this position will have a critical impact on the growth of our key region and our company overall.

You will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of all sales initiatives and will ensure short and long-term revenue expansion, including setting the strategic direction to meet revenue goals. You will have responsibility for leading the regional sales organization as well as training, developing and hiring the best in class team. 

Your tasks include:

  • Assess and Improve execution across the current sales processes
  • Guide and manage activities to ensure that the regional revenue goals and objectives are exceeded
  • Develop and execute a business plan and sales cadence to expand business into new accounts throughout the DACH region
  • Create and execute long-term sales plans, including strategies, goals, quotas, tracking mechanism and analytics
  • Develop and sustain productive relationships with other territories of the business at group level and across regional staff members to foster best practice / achieve goals
  • Oversee and develop further regional Partner sales activities and manage relationships with strategic partners
  • Demonstrate (acquire) a high level of domain knowledge and market awareness within and an in-depth understanding of the specific sector, including the key industry issues and trends, key competitors where appropriate, customer insights and business drivers
  • Develop and effectively present Staffbase’s value proposition, roadmap and vision to customers
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performance sales organization including field sales, Sales Development, Partner Management, Solution Engineering and Sales Enablement, including team structure, hiring, performance assessment, coaching and feedback, team succession planning and training

Your profile:

  • Established success in leading a successful revenue driven organization, ideally within a high-growth, global B2B SaaS company with complex offerings to enterprise customers
  • Experience scaling a sales force with revenue streams of a growth stage business from
  • ~$15MM to $50MM and beyond
  • Experience and a performance track record of Internal Communications, Intranets,
  • Proven success in designing, building, and executing a go-to-market strategy including sales, business development, pricing, revenue operations/management, customer retention, customer success, and marketing
  • Expert in new business acquisition, negotiation tactics, complex account management, and business development for an earlier stage organization
  • The ability to reliably plan, forecast and consistently produce accurate revenue reports around lead generation and sales pipeline
  • Proven success in establishing a new category and creating buzz and demand in the market
  • Experience in selling solutions and overseeing revenue operations in the DACH region
  • Organized, operationally strong and commercially astute with a strong understanding of financial processes and business modeling
  • Must be able and willing to travel across the DACH region
